From June 16th to 20th, our gathering at the Renaissance Columbus Downtown Hotel in Columbus, OH, promises three immersive days packed with insights, innovation, and collaboration. Dive into an array of complimentary workshops on Monday, kickstarting an enriching week, and explore paid workshops on Friday for a deeper dive into specialized topics.

This lecture will explore the neuropsychology of errors. It will explain the conditions of Error-Related Negativity (ERN) and Error-related positivity (Pe), as well as the role of the anterior cingulate cortex (ACC) and prefrontal cortex (PFC) in dealing with error. The session will explore our emotional reactions to error, fear of failure, and motivation. The session will discuss the role of the Basal Ganglia in error correction and how the brain performs adaptive learning. The lecture will also discuss cognitive strategies for dealing with errors and social and contextual factors in error processing.
