She specializes in collaborative healthcare transformation, driving breakthrough results in patient safety and organizational culture. As a founding leader of the Solutions for Patient Safety Network, she united 150 children’s hospitals, achieving significant harm reduction and cost savings. Her expertise includes strategic planning, quality improvement, and talent development. Dr. Lyren is a skilled communicator and passionate learner, committed to fostering diversity and equity while empowering teams that include patients and families to achieve exceptional outcomes. She has also held leadership positions at UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.
