Georgina Poole is a health and safety leader with over 18 years experience across a variety of industries including Mining, Oil and Gas, Construction, Aviation and Manufacturing. Georgina hosts a safety related podcast called "Leading Safely" which has been in the Top 10% of most globally shared podcasts on Spotify for the last three years in a row. Georgina is also the Director and Co-Founder of Event Learning Australia, a global provider of safety leadership and training services. In 2024, Georgina co-authored her first book with Professor Sidney Dekker, Random Noise - Measuring Your Company's Safety Performance. As an advocate for Human and Organisational Performance (HOP) and Doing Safety Differently, and recently commenced her PhD studies on change agents driving modern safety initiatives and what happens to those change initiatives when the change agent leaves the organisation. Georgina prides herself on being a facilitator of critical thinking, discussion and change.
