About me
Joel earned his Associate Degree from ITT Technical Institute in Electrical Engineering Technology. He then entered the US Navy in the Nuclear Power Program. He spent 6 years on active duty, 4 of them assigned as a Reactor Operator on the nuclear powered attack submarine USS Indianapolis (SSN 697). After active service he joined the Naval Reserve for 10 years where he was assigned to various commands including Naval Research and Development.
He has been employed at NiSource for over 30 years. Throughout his career he has held positions of increasing responsibility, including: Operations Training Instructor for Generation, Operations Training Leader, Generation Training Leader, and Employee Development and Instructional Design Leader, and Human Performance Improvement Program Manager, and Manager Training and Development in charge of Leader Training. He now holds a critical role as Principal Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) Consultant supporting NiSource enterprise
